"F12 Details - Cleaned" Has a very original look with medium to deeper gray color and a darker area on the lower left part of the shield. The date is weak, with a very soft '18'. Lovely even, deeper grey color with lighter grey on the high points. Well struck overall, with the normal weakness at the top of the eagle's left (facing) wing and upper neck. This is the scarce 'E over A in STATES' variety, which was the result of engraving the wrong letter by hand into the die. The error was then spotted and partially corrected but parts of the underlying "A" can be seen towards the right side of the "E". Priced below the wholesale Greysheet price of $1,400!

Item #117642
  1933-S Walking Half MS65+ NGC
Blazing full white with gorgeous luster. The surfaces are immaculate, with very clean fields and hardly any bag marks. The 1933-S Walking Half is a better date, though relatively common in lower circulated grades. It becomes increasingly harder to find in mintstate, and Gem examples are very scarce. This one is graded MS65+, and look as nice or nicer than many MS66's Walkers we have seen! A very well struck example and by far the nicest we have ever offered.
$3,795.00
1793 Wreath Cent VF Detail PCGS Gold Shield
Item #117634
1793 Wreath Cent VF Detail PCGS Gold Shield
"VF Detail - Tooled" Even deeper brown color with some lighter, caramel color on the high points of the hair. A very well struck specimen with sharp VF detail and all detail bold except for the fraction, which is just slightly weak. The surfaces have some light to moderate porosity visible mainly in the fields, though not very noticeable unless examined up close. With magnification, there are some light, uniform scratches on the high parts of the hair detail, and a few on the cheek. While a glass reveals some imperfections of this piece, it has a great "arms length" presence, and has the look of a much more expensive coin. One of the nicest Wreath Cents we have offered! Greysheet is $9,000 in VF20, $6,500 in F12 and even $3,800 in VG8!

1921 Missouri 2*4 Commemorative MS65 NGC
Item #117619
  1921 Missouri 2*4 Commemorative MS65 NGC
Lustrous with touches of original gold toning around the peripheries, parts of the field and some of the high points. The Philadelphia Mint struck 50,000 Missouri half dollars in July 1921. Of those 50,000, just 5,000 of those pieces had a special marking to the left of Boone on the obverse. The marking is an incuse star with 2 and 4 on either side, signifying Missouri’s place as the 24th state in the Union. As only 5,000 of these were ever minted, it is quite scarce! Priced just under the $1,200 Greysheet price!
$1,195.00

1794 Franklin Press Plain Edge Token MS63 NGC Brown
Item #117560
1794 Franklin Press Plain Edge Token MS63 NGC Brown
Impressive medium to slightly deeper brown color with lots of reddish tan highlights throughout the obverse, and around the lettering of the reverse. A well struck example with no major marks and lovely eye appeal. The 1794 Franklin Press Token belongs to a series of British-made pieces known as "Conder" Tokens (Halfpenny- and Penny-sized tokens made for sale to collectors and sometimes used as advertising tokens by certain merchants). Although the Franklin Press Tokens probably never circulated in America, collectors have included them as a U.S. "Colonial" coin because of the reference to the American patriot and statesman, Benjamin Franklin. The printing press illustrated on the front of this token is believed to be the same press used by Franklin while he worked in London, England as a journeyman printer! Priced well below the $1,500 Greysheet price!

1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar VG10 PCGS
Item #117482
1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar VG10 PCGS
Nice and original with even, deep grey color on both sides with some slightly lighter areas when viewed under good light. The central detail is sharp for the grade including ample hair detail showing. The obverse is softly struck around the peripheries, which makes the tops of LIBERTY and the very bottom of the date slightly weak. A few parallel old scratches which appear to be adjustment marks can be seen on the eagle's left (facing) wing. A lovely example of this scarce Flowing Hair Half Dollar! Overton-124
