1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
Item #74720

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
The beautiful Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle design. This date is almost always softly struck on the obverse. This one is better than most with nearly all the detail full. Cleaned at some point in this coin's long life. Still brilliant and an awesome vintage coin. The reverse is fully struck and shows all the breast feathers, Shield lines, and wing feathers. The reverse looks at least AU55. With close inspection, there are a few adjustment marks on the rim at 10:00. The planchets were made slightly heavy, and mint employees would file a little silver off to get the correct weight, prior to striking. With our love of vintage coins, this is a coin that is tempting to buy out of inventory. It will be a long time, years, before we will see one this nice! Wholesale Bid is $3,700 and we have this one listed below Bid! A good coin for our one year lay-away.

1800 Draped Bust Dollar VF Details PCGS (Dotted Date Variety)
Item #103716

1800 Draped Bust Dollar VF Details PCGS (Dotted Date Variety)
'VF Details Damage PCGS Dotted Date' Lovely original gray color and nicely struck. The damage consists of a small nick behind Miss Liberty's head. This is about the least severe 'Damage' that can be on a coin and still get the notation on the holder. This is the rare 'Dotted Date' variety that shows a larger dot below the first '0' in the date as well as two smaller dots above the date, and two inside of the loop. These dots are from die rust, and do not show on early die states. This variety is very scarce with only an estimate of 700 specimens exist in all grades!! This would normally sell for about $2,800. An opportunity to get a big discount on this one for one small nick!
$1995.00

Surfaces show eye-catching mirrored fields with a touch of gold toning visible on both sides. The devices has some cameo contrast, particularly on the reverse. A very scarce date as-is, and much scarcer being a DMPL!
$1195.00

1885 Liberty Nickel XF45
Item #106808

  1885 Liberty Nickel XF45
The key date to the series with very high end XF detail. Though it has an original look with even, lighter gray color, there are faint hairlines visible at the right angle from an old cleaning. There is rim damage to the obverse rim at 7:00, and on the reverse rim at about 8:00. The rim has also been filed in this area, probably in attempts to minimize the look. There is also a nick on the base of Miss Liberty's nick. A problem free example would sell for over $1,000!
$525.00
