1793 Half Cent Fine 12 Details ANACS
Item #113230
1793 Half Cent Fine 12 Details ANACS
"Fine 12 Details, Corroded" All obverse detail is visible including a full date, Liberty and portrait with the major parts of the hair detail visible. Reverse shows a bold wreath and most of the mottos visible, though the first part of UNITED is weak, and AMERICA and the fraction are only partially visible. Coin is a dark ebony brown color in the fields, with medium brown color on the high points. The surfaces are highly porous with a coat of corrosion, more visible on the reverse. The first year of the Half Cent as well as the scarcest date in the series. You get lots of detail for the price on this legendary rarity housed in an older ANACS holder. Greysheet is $6,000 in F12, $3,600 in VG8 and even $2,850 in G4! Priced below G4 Greysheet!
$2595.00
1794 Franklin Press Token MS63 Brown NGC Plain Edge
Item #126392
1794 Franklin Press Token MS63 Brown NGC Plain Edge
Superb medium brown color with plenty of fading luster visible around the peripheries of the obverse and the recesses of both sides, though mainly on the obverse. The 1794 Franklin Press Token belongs to a series of British-made pieces known as "Conder" Tokens. This scarce token has beautiful eye appeal with very nice surfaces! Priced well below the $1,500 Greysheet!
$995.00
1794 Franklin Press Token Plain Edge MS64 Brown NGC
Item #126514
1794 Franklin Press Token Plain Edge MS64 Brown NGC
Lovely medium to slightly deeper brown color on both sides with hints of tan in the fields. A well struck example with very nice surfaces and no major marks. The 1794 Franklin Press Token belongs to a series of British-made pieces known as "Conder" Tokens (Halfpenny- and Penny-sized tokens made for sale to collectors and sometimes used as advertising tokens by certain merchants). Although the Franklin Press Tokens probably never circulated in America, collectors have included them as a U.S. "Colonial" coin because of the reference to the American patriot and statesman, Benjamin Franklin. The printing press illustrated on the front of this token is believed to be the same press used by Franklin while he worked in London, England as a journeyman printer! Priced well below the $2,000 Greysheet price!
$1595.00
1794 Half Cent F Detail PCGS
Item #124832
1794 Half Cent F Detail PCGS
"F Detail - Exc. Corrosion" Even deeper brown color with a weak yet readable date. There is surface corrosion on the surfaces and heavy pitting on the obverse. All the major detail is visible, though the reverse center is weakly struck. Greysheet is $1,300 in F12, $850 in VG8 and even $475 in G4!
$425.00
1794 Half Cent F Detail PCGS
Item #111580
1794 Half Cent F Detail PCGS
"F Detail - Tooled" Even dark ebony grey fields with slightly lighter color on some of the high points. The obverse shows a full date, portrait and Liberty with evenly porous surfaces. The reverse is weakly struck, which is common on this very early issue, and shows most of the detail, though it is quite faint. The reverse surfaces show heavy porosity. While the holder states 'Tooled', it seems that it was incorrectly mark as we would think this one would be marked as 'Environmental Damage'. We do not see any tooling marks, just dark, porous surfaces. A very scarce, early Half Cent with just 81,600 ever minted! Greysheet is $1,300 in F12 and $850 in VG8!
$595.00 $549.00
1794 Half Cent F12 Details ANACS
Item #113680
1794 Half Cent F12 Details ANACS
"F12 Details - Corroded C-4a" Pleasing medium brown color with a bold date and all detail clear. There are two mint-made planchet streaks (flaws) running diagonally from the top of the obverse, with some corrosion evident within the streaks. There is also touches of corrosion on a couple letters of the reverse mottos, as well as parts of the recesses of the wreath. The obverse has an area around the rim from 7:00 to 8:00 that is weakly struck. Despite the problems, this coin has nice surfaces overall, and lots of detail for the price! Greysheet is $1,300 in F12 and $850 in VG8!
$615.00
1795 Flowing Hair Half Dime XF Detail PCGS
Item #125357
1795 Flowing Hair Half Dime XF Detail PCGS
"XF Detail - Damage" Pleasing light silver color with XF detail. There are many, very tiny pinpoint nicks peppered about the surfaces of both sides, along with a few scattered bag nicks. There are also several rim nicks, and some light porosity. The reverse exhibits the typical weakly struck wing feathers on the left side. LOTS of detail for the price on this scarce issue! Greysheet is $4,250 in XF!
$2095.00
1795 Flowing Half Dime EF40 Details ANACS
Item #113482
1795 Flowing Half Dime EF40 Details ANACS
"EF40 Details - Mount Removed/Altered Surfaces LM-10" Pleasing lighter silver color with VF-XF detail in our opinion. The surfaces are porous, though the detail is all clear. There is a larger chunk of solder visible at 12:00 on the obverse, and 6:00 on the reverse where a mount was removed, as this was most likely attached to a necklace decades ago. There is also a scrape at the top of Miss Liberty's head. A very rare, low mintage early Half Dime that, despite the problems, has nice detail and priced at a huge discount off the $4,250 Greysheet price for an XF40! Greysheet is $2,300 in VF20 and even $1,750 in F12!
$1495.00
1795 Large Cent VF Detail Plain Edge
Item #123912
1795 Large Cent VF Detail Plain Edge

There are a few scattered nicks on the portrait along with a little scuff. Lots of detail for the price on this early Large Cent! Greysheet is $1,500 in VF20!
$425.00
1795 Washington Grate Half Penny MS62 Brown PCGS
Item #128071
1795 Washington Grate Half Penny MS62 Brown PCGS
The Washington Grate Halfpenny is part of the series of merchant tokens and collector coins produced in England in the late 1700s. Collectively, these coins are known as Conder tokens. Some Conder tokens offered themes that related directly to the American Colonies or the United States. This particular piece, because of the portrait of George Washington that appears on the obverse, has been accepted into the canon of U.S. colonial coins, though the striking date was late and the association loose. This example has lovely, even deeper brown color with traces of faded underlying luster around the peripheries and part of the recesses. Lovely surfaces and eye appeal!
$415.00
1804 Large Cent VF20 Details ANACS
Item #119873
1804 Large Cent VF20 Details ANACS
"VF20 Details - Heavily Corroded S-266" Has VF detail with deeper brown color on both sides. The surfaces show heavy granularity on both sides with some pitting. Large Cent collectors know just how rare and tough to find this date is. Greysheet is $8,000 in VF, $4,200 in F12 and $3200 in VG8! You get a lot of detail for the price and available for way under VG8 Greysheet!
$2250.00
1805 Large Cent XF Details PCGS
Item #115933
1805 Large Cent XF Details PCGS
"XF Details - Damage" A sharp XF with lovely deep chocolate brown color. The surfaces are very nice with no signs of corrosion or porosity, and the hair detail is quite bold. The face has a series of uniform hairlines scratches that do not stand out as they are old and blend in with the color of the coin, though cause uneven wear on the face. There are traces of these same scratches on the obverse rim area from 2:00 to 3:00. Despite the problems, coin has very nice eye appeal and is priced way below the $900 Greysheet price!
$415.00
1806 Bust Quarter VF Detail PCGS Gold Shield
Item #117911
1806 Bust Quarter VF Detail PCGS Gold Shield
"VF Detail - Repaired" Has VF detail with brighter surfaces from being cleaned (though cleaning is not noted on the holder). The right obverse rim and area above the eagle's head appear to have been burnished, probably to smooth out nicks or scratches. The inner wing feathers and eagle's head/neck is weakly struck, as common on these early bust quarters. Lots of detail for the price and a big discount off the $1,200 Greysheet price for a VF!
$649.00
1808 Large Cent VF Detail PCGS
Item #108202
1808 Large Cent VF Detail PCGS

$335.00
1864-L Indian Cent MS65 Red PCGS
Item #127473
1864-L Indian Cent MS65 Red PCGS
Gorgeous golden red luster on both sides with hints of mellowing on the high points. The luster is vibrant and the strike is bold including sharp feather tips and full diamonds. There are three varieties of the 1864 Indian Cent: The copper nickel version, the standard bronze version, and the scarce bronze 1864-L. The L is the designer's initials (James Longacre). The 1859 to 1864 copper-nickel Indian cents did not have these initials, and most of the nearly 40 million 1864 bronze Indian cents also lack the initials. Towards the end of the year, the designer's initials were added to the ribbon on the obverse, creating a variety that has been very popular with collectors ever since. While available in lower grades, the 1864-L gets scarce is tougher to get in upper circulated grades and is quite scarce in this gem grade, particularly with full red!
