1803 Draped Bust Large Cent VF30 Details ANACS 'VF30 Details Scratched-Corroded-Burnished ANACS' Very glossy deep brown color caused from an ancient cleaning. Sharp hair detail, though looks more VF20 overall. The surfaces have been professionally burnished (smoothed), probably in attempts to remove porosity that was caused from corrosion, though there is no physical corrosion buildup. There is a scratch in the left obverse field and a couple of rim nicks. Despite the problems, the coin still has a nice look and is priced to sell! $175.00

1805 Draped Bust Large Cent XF Details PCGS 'XF Details Damage PCGS' A superb coin with glossy medium brown surfaces and sharp XF40 detail. Excellent eye appeal, and a Draped Bust cent is rare this nice. The 'damage' consists of a series of old (toned over) hairline scratches across the face that are tough to see without magnification. This variety is often seen in VG-XF, but rarely seen in MS grades. For a 'Brn' coin, there is quite a bit of red.
