The final year of large cent production, and always a scarce date in either variety. This one is a pleasing glossy tan problem free example with just slight traces of wear on the highest points.

1924-S Buffalo Nickel AU Details NGC
Item #99688

1924-S Buffalo Nickel AU Details NGC
'AU Details Corrosion NGC' One of the sharpest 1924-S Buffalos we have offered. Coin shows a razor sharp horn, which is quite rare on this date, even in high grades as this date has a notoriously weakly struck horn. The tail is partially split and the coin is very sharp. The color is even medium gray with a touch of gold toning on the Indian. While there is no physical corrosion, the surfaces are evenly porous and void of luster. A very rare coin in VF and higher, with a Greysheet bid of $1,450 in AU and $925 in XF. This one is priced less than half of XF Greysheet bid!
$395.00

1883-S Morgan Dollar MS60 NGC
Item #90717

1883-S Morgan Dollar MS60 NGC
An opportunity to acquire a Mint State 1883-S dollar. Brilliant creamy white lustre, with a semi-PL obverse showing reflective surfaces. The strike is full, as usually seen on the early San Francisco dollars, including full breast feathers. The obverse has little surface tic's that hold the grade down, but a solid MS coin. This date is rarely seen in MS grades, and I think it has been over 20 years since we have had one in stock! An MS63 jumps to $2,350, with MS65 examples going for over $33,000!
$995.00

1995-W $5 Gold Stadium Commemorative Gem MS69
Item #90360

1995-W $5 Gold Stadium Commemorative Gem MS69
The Centennial Games, 1896 to 1996. The rare 'Stadium' $5 gold piece with a scant mintage of 10,579. When these first came out they were close to $2,000, and soon dropped, and now Bid for $800, with a list of about $875-$895. For a Gem gold coin with under 11 K minted, this now seems too low. Good investment potential. In the original unopened capsule and available for under Bid, just...

1804 Bust Quarter AG3 PCGS CAC
Item #100465

1804 Bust Quarter AG3 PCGS CAC
This classic rarity has no problems, full Liberty, a full clear date, light gray toning, and excellent eye appeal. The Stars all show on the obverse. The obverse grades a full G4, with an AG3 reverse. The upper half of the reverse mottos are slightly weak, with 'United' and 'America' mostly worn away. This date sells for $4000 in G4. This is a known rarity that is still affordable to many collectors. The demand always is more than the supply on this date, and this should push the prices up in the future. With the obverse showing G4 detail, and certified in a problem free holder with a CAC sticker, this one should bring about $3500, but we have it listed for...

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
Item #74720

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
The beautiful Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle design. This date is almost always softly struck on the obverse. This one is better than most with nearly all the detail full. Cleaned at some point in this coin's long life. Still brilliant and an awesome vintage coin. The reverse is fully struck and shows all the breast feathers, Shield lines, and wing feathers. The reverse looks at least AU55. With close inspection, there are a few adjustment marks on the rim at 10:00. The planchets were made slightly heavy, and mint employees would file a little silver off to get the correct weight, prior to striking. With our love of vintage coins, this is a coin that is tempting to buy out of inventory. It will be a long time, years, before we will see one this nice! Wholesale Bid is $4,000 and we have this one listed below Bid! A good coin for our one year lay-away.

All detail struck nicely with the exception of some slight softness on LIBERTY, though all fully readable. There are a couple of small rim nicks on the obverse. The reverse displays numerous adjustment marks, as originally minted and not to be confused with scratches. There is a heavy die crack through the M in AMERICA and is always present on O-122. Just 299,680 were ever minted, with only a small percentage surviving today. An opportunity to acquire this rarity and a very attractive price! Greysheet bid is $3,300 in VF!

1924-S Buffalo Nickel XF40 Cleaned
Item #73741

1924-S Buffalo Nickel XF40 Cleaned
Bold XF detail, including the date, horn, and split tail. The gray color matches the average circulated Buffalo, with traces of lustre. The coin was harshly cleaned long ago, and has toned back to an original look. There are cleaning lines. With a stereo-scope and higher 45X power, there are traces of a chemical cleaning. This is hard to see. Certain poisons were found to clean coins during and before this coin's minting. A prominent pioneer dealer had a glass with the poison in it and was going about his business of cleaning some coins. After a while, he was thirsty and picked up the glass of poison and took a drink before he realized his fatal mistake. Check the photo on this rarity, it has good eye appeal and strong XF+ detail. An XF of this date Bids for $925, and is hardly ever available at any price. We are offering this one at half of XF Bid!

1916-D Mercury Dime XF Details Clnd NGC
Item #82264

1916-D Mercury Dime XF Details Clnd NGC
A 1916-D key date dime in lustrous XF condition. Noted on slab, 'XF details, Improperly Clnd'. There are traces of a past cleaning, but it does not diminish the beautiful lustrous surfaces. Only 264,000 minted during a time the world was waging WW I, and very few coins were preserved for posterity. It is very rare to obtain a 1916-D in this state of preservation! Without the signs of a cleaning, this one would be around $6,200, and possibly more when taking into account the generous lustre that gives this one an 'AU look'.
