1928 Hawaiian Half Unc. Details, Scr. PCGS
Item #91259

1928 Hawaiian Half Unc. Details, Scr. PCGS
One of the rarest and most elusive early commemoratives. This one is original with light silver gray lustre. There is a scuff on the reverse in the left field, and two on the obverse left field. They are ancient scuffs (scratches) and blend into the lustre to minimize their impact. Without the scuffs, this one would list for about $2,400. We have given this rarity a big discount of $650!

1995-W $5 Gold Stadium Commemorative Gem MS69
Item #90360

1995-W $5 Gold Stadium Commemorative Gem MS69
The Centennial Games, 1896 to 1996. The rare 'Stadium' $5 gold piece with a scant mintage of 10,579. When these first came out they were close to $2,000, and soon dropped, and now Bid for $800, with a list of about $875-$895. For a Gem gold coin with under 11 K minted, this now seems too low. Good investment potential. In the original unopened capsule and available for under Bid, just...

1812 Classic Cent AU50
Item #90162

1812 Classic Cent AU50
SD. Upper end AU detail and a strong even strike that allows every little curl to show. Glossy chocolate brn surfaces that are extremely attractive. However, it appears there has been some smoothing of the surfaces in the distant past. This was an old technique that was often used on the best coins to add eye appeal. This coin has abundant eye appeal. this date Bids for $3400, and lists for about $3950. As we feel there is some smoothing on the surfaces, we have lowered the price $1450! An awesome Classic cent for only...

1837 Illustrious Predecessor Hard Times Token MS63 BN PCGS
Item #89430

1837 Illustrious Predecessor Hard Times Token MS63 BN PCGS
HT-33. The popular 'I follow in the footsteps of my illustrious predecessors', with the donkey and turtle. This variety is often seen in VG-XF, but rarely seen in MS grades. For a 'Brn' coin, there is quite a bit of red. Not enough for a RB designation, but it has red lustre around the protected areas, and this adds a lot to the eye appeal! A beautiful mark free example of this Hard Times token.

1900 Lafayette Dollar Ch MS64 PCGS
Item #66700

1900 Lafayette Dollar Ch MS64 PCGS
An outstanding pristine example of this early commemorative. These were issued so close to face value that most were eventually put into circulation. They tended to tone, and this prompted many people to clean them. Today, the vast majority of Lafayette Dollars are circulated and cleaned. This one is a superb exception. The obverse is fully toned in gray, blue, and gold. The reverse shows creamy lustre with a halo of gold with a little blue. Graysheet ask is $3,100! A true rarity in this grade!

1893-S Morgan Dollar Good Details NGC
Item #94050

1893-S Morgan Dollar Good Details NGC
Good Details Damaged NGC. Bold date and mintmark. Obverse has most of rim full, though weak from 7:00 to 9:00. Reverse has rim weakness from 10:00 to 12:00 and at 5:00. There is a small indention on the cap that ever so slightly pushes out the metal causing the uneven wear patterns on the rim. Reverse shows several short, deeper scratches across the lower section of the eagle. The absolute lowest mintage regular strike Morgan Dollar produce with only 100k minted, and many lost and melted. This is the most affordable example we have ever offered! A perfect opportunity to finally fill that hole in your collection! Don't forget our free layaway plans!

1996-W $5 Gold Cauldron Commemorative Gem MS69 PCGS
A modern rarity with a scant mintage of just 9,210 coins. Here is a pleasing Gem example, certified by PCGS. This one shot up to nearly $2000 when first released, due to the ultra low mintage. It then started dropping and is now listed at $880 for a wholesale Bid. Now at a very attractive price level compared to the mintage. We have it at $30 under Bid for this PCGS MS69 example!

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
Item #74720

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
The beautiful Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle design. This date is almost always softly struck on the obverse. This one is better than most with nearly all the detail full. Cleaned at some point in this coin's long life. Still brilliant and an awesome vintage coin. The reverse is fully struck and shows all the breast feathers, Shield lines, and wing feathers. The reverse looks at least AU55. With close inspection, there are a few adjustment marks on the rim at 10:00. The planchets were made slightly heavy, and mint employees would file a little silver off to get the correct weight, prior to striking. With our love of vintage coins, this is a coin that is tempting to buy out of inventory. It will be a long time, years, before we will see one this nice! Wholesale Bid is $4,000 and we have this one listed below Bid! A good coin for our one year lay-away.

1877 Indian Cent VG Details NCS
Item #94853

1877 Indian Cent VG Details NCS
'VG Details Scratched' NCS. NCS is the holder that NGC originally used for coins that were not problem free. Now they put them in NGC holders and note the problem. This key date Indian Cent has a couple of thin obverse scratches. When examined closely, there are faint traces of a very old cleaning. Though noted as VG details, since there are no letters in Liberty visible, we are grading and pricing this one as a G4 with scratches and an old cleaning.
