This brilliant gold coin commemorates the Christopher Columbus voyages of discovery. 1492-1992. Approx. 1/4th ounce of pure gold. In the original unopened capsule.

The obv. rim is weak from the first star to the middle of Pluribus. The stars and letters are still viewable. The reverse is G-VG. Light gray color.

Attractive surfaces with original lustre in the protected areas. There is one rim nick on reverse.

The first type of Morgan dollar, showing 8 tail feathers. Real eagles always have an uneven number of tail feathers, so it was soon changed to 7 tail feathes.

Super sharp detail with . Excellent eye appeal, despite an old cleaning. The color is attractive, although it may have been retoned. Light golden lustre and very few marks for a silver dollar. Just a whisper of wear from being a $3000 MS63!

Heraldic (Large) eagle with the draped bust obverse. Actually a G4 that they Net Graded. The obv. has full rims, bold date, and even some hair at the shoulder. The rev. has a virtually full rim with all the mottos readable. The center is weak, over the eagle's head and stars. This is clearly a striking feature and typical on this date and type. Nice light silvery gray surfaces. There are two bag marks in the right field, and two light rim marks. These vintage coins get harder to locate every year! A good value for only...

Both breasts are clearly underlined. Original surfaces and only a couple tiny rim tics from perfection.

Solid VG and no problems.

Bold Liberty and gown lines. Shades of gray toning over mark free surfaces. The rims are in good shape with only a couple of rev. tics that are too minor to note on a slab.

A little toning is left at the stars, but most of the coin has been cleaned bright.

An attractive early Capped Bust type with some color mixed into the gray surfaces.
