The 1955 Double Die is the most counterfeited key date! It is a good idea to get this one in a slab. This is the FS-101, Die 1. This is the variety with a full strike and full doubling. This one is a reddish gold color, and with AU detail. XF Bid/Ask is 2000/2175, and AU50 is $2050/2250. Priced below XF40!

Heavy Motto. This date is scarce in MS, and rare in Gem BU. Mark free and fully struck. Original colors in the lustre on both sides.
