1794 Bust Cent XF Details Damage PCGS
Item #91342

1794 Bust Cent XF Details Damage PCGS
Head of 1794. Medium brn with granular surfaces (environmental damage). The detail is all sharp, including the date and mottos. This one would be about $4500 in this grade without the surface granularity. This variety is called the 'Drunken Die Cutter' as the date is so misaligned! A good buy on this impressive vintage cent with thick lettered edges.

1797 Half Cent AU Environmental Damage NCS
Item #31545

1797 Half Cent AU Environmental Damage NCS
Sharp, well struck, chocolate brn, and problem free Obv. Reverse shows chocolate brn with some brick red patches, which accounts for the 'enviro. damage'. Orig. mark free and a stunning high grade example of a capped half cent. The variety where the '1' in date was punched much too high. The date was then added at the correct position. The entire '1' that was cut into the die was not removed. This left the clear 1 over the current date position. This is the most dramatic and clear recut date on early coins. This date Bids for $5,300, and sells for about $6,000 in this grade. $1,400 has been taken off the price for the uneven color on reverse. Very rare this nice

BB-125, B-8. A superb example with pristine light gray surfaces with hardly a bag mark. It is difficult to locate a totally problem free silver dollar from 218 years ago! The super sharp obverse and reverse show VF30 detail. We rarely see a Draped Bust dollar with such exceptional balance of color, strike, and overall eye appeal. A superb example of the vintage Draped Bust design, and still only...

Item #84628

1800 Half Dime F12 Scr.
Draped Bust with the majestic Heraldic Eagle reverse. Full date and a lot of hair detail. There are two scr's in the right field that have long since toned over. The Eagle's left wing is struck softly, but an even strike overall. There are two edge bumps. A very rare coin with an original mintage of just 24,000 coins, with estimates of only about 2,000 to 2,500 extant today. A wonderful vintage coin from the long ago.

1804 Bust Cent VG8 Enviro. Damage PCGS
Item #90196

1804 Bust Cent VG8 Enviro. Damage PCGS
S-266. Chocolate brn surfaces with minute granularity (Enviro. Damage). Date, Liberty, and mottos are all readable. One of the rarest and most sought after large cent dates. In the 1970's when we would be able to locate two or three 1804 cents a year, and now we are lucky to locate one every two or three years. Judging by the difference, this rare date will only gain in rarity and value, as it becomes increasingly difficult to locate.

1806 Bust Quarter G4 PCGS
Item #84226

1806 Bust Quarter G4 PCGS
It is very difficult to locate vintage coins without flaws that can be put in a problem free slab. This coin is the rare exception. Despite being over 200 years old, it has never been cleaned, and has avoided marks and scratches. A pristine vintage coin that has a lot of detail for the grade. Hair detail shows at the shoulder and above the forehead. The face is complete, which brings the coin to life and adds to the enjoyment of ownership. Also unlike most from this era, the strike is even. If you have been looking for an outstanding example of the Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle quarter, here is a quality example.

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
Item #74720

1807 Bust Half AU50 Clnd
The beautiful Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle design. This date is almost always softly struck on the obverse. This one is better than most with nearly all the detail full. Cleaned at some point in this coin's long life. Still brilliant and an awesome vintage coin. The reverse is fully struck and shows all the breast feathers, Shield lines, and wing feathers. The reverse looks at least AU55. With close inspection, there are a few adjustment marks on the rim at 10:00. The planchets were made slightly heavy, and mint employees would file a little silver off to get the correct weight, prior to striking. With our love of vintage coins, this is a coin that is tempting to buy out of inventory. It will be a long time, years, before we will see one this nice! Wholesale Bid is $4,000 and we have this one listed below Bid! A good coin for our one year lay-away.

1807 Draped Bust Half AU55 Clnd ICG
The obverse was lightly cleaned (no hairlines) decades ago and has toned back to a natural gray color. The reverse shows full breast feathers, wing and shield detail. It is a lustrous toned down light gray. Wonderful eye appeal. An exciting coin that is so rare that is hardly ever comes up for sale. Our grade and price is for an AU50 Clnd. The price would be $4,500, but is reduced for the cleaning by $1,000!

1811 Half Cent XF Details, Clnd NCS (NGC)
Item #58680

1811 Half Cent XF Details, Clnd NCS (NGC)
C-2. Close Date. Mostly a chocolate brn, except the center of the reverse. There is an old cleaning on the center of the reverse, which has lightened it to a tan color. Not enough to mention on the slab, but there are traces of porosity in the left field. NCS is an NGC slab for a coin with a 'problem', a partial cleaning in this case. This rare date Bids for $3,450 in XF, and sells for about $3,750. However, with the traces of a cleaning, we have reduced it $1,000!

1812 Classic Cent AU50
Item #90162

1812 Classic Cent AU50
SD. Upper end AU detail and a strong even strike that allows every little curl to show. Glossy chocolate brn surfaces that are extremely attractive. However, it appears there has been some smoothing of the surfaces in the distant past. This was an old technique that was often used on the best coins to add eye appeal. This coin has abundant eye appeal. this date Bids for $3400, and lists for about $3950. As we feel there is some smoothing on the surfaces, we have lowered the price $1450! An awesome Classic cent for only...

1831 Bust Half Dime MS62 NGC
Item #90382

1831 Bust Half Dime MS62 NGC
Brilliant with touches of gold. Sharp strike on this Mint State Capped Bust Half Dime. Mint State Bust coinage is a real prize to collectors, especially when available for under $1000. Much rarer than the modest price would indicate in this grade. An example of a coin that is very undervalued in today's Market, and a good bet for dramatic price increases in the next few years.

HT-33. The popular 'I follow in the footsteps of my illustrious predecessors', with the donkey and turtle. This variety is often seen in VG-XF, but rarely seen in MS grades. For a 'Brn' coin, there is quite a bit of red. Not enough for a RB designation, but it has red lustre around the protected areas, and this adds a lot to the eye appeal! A beautiful mark free example of this Hard Times token.

1895-O Barber Dime XF40 Damage PCGS
Item #88917

1895-O Barber Dime XF40 Damage PCGS
As Barber dime specialists know, this key date is always elusive to locate, especially in Fine or better. This example is an XF40 that picked up some surface corrosion, which was mostly cleaned off with a hard cleaning. The coin is a silvery color with some darker deposits showing around the obverse legends. The cleaning has left little cleaning hairline scratches, and it is too bright on the obverse. The reverse has a light silver gray color and very sharp detail. This date Bids for $2000 in XF40, and a PCGS example would sell for close to $2500. We have given this one a large discount, making it a great opportunity for the collector at about 1/3 the regular price.
