1995-W $5 Gold Stadium Commemorative Gem MS69
The Centennial Games, 1896 to 1996. The rare 'Stadium' $5 gold piece with a scant mintage of 10,579. When these first came out they were close to $2,000, and soon dropped, and now Bid for $800, with a list of about $875-$895. For a Gem gold coin with under 11 K minted, this now seems too low. 1895-O Barber Dime XF40 Damage PCGS
Item #88917

1895-O Barber Dime XF40 Damage PCGS
As Barber dime specialists know, this key date is always elusive to locate, especially in Fine or better. This example is an XF40 that picked up some surface corrosion, which was mostly cleaned off with a hard cleaning. The coin is a silvery color with some darker deposits showing around the obverse legends. The cleaning has left little cleaning hairline scratches, and it is too bright on the obverse. The reverse has a light silver gray color and very sharp detail. This date Bids for $2000 in XF40, and a PCGS example would sell for close to $2500. We have given this one a large discount, making it a great opportunity for the collector at about 1/3 the regular price.

1916-D Mercury Dime XF Details, Smoothed PCGS
Item #86167

1916-D Mercury Dime XF Details, Smoothed PCGS
This low mintage key date was struck during a time of war and turmoil. The vast majority of the 264,000 struck were heavily circulated. Today, we see 15-20 in FA or AG for every one we get in F12 or better. This is a well struck coin with full Sticks and Diagonal bands. Cleaned in the past, with a trace of burnishing, and now toned back to a light gray. With close viewing, there are signs of the cleaning under the toning. Bid in XF40 is $5,400, with problem free examples realizing over $6000. Certified as 'Genuine', which is important on this date. A natural look and color, but with a $2000 discount!
