1869 Indian Cent AU53 Brn NGC
Item #80010
1869 Indian Cent AU53 Brn NGC
This semi-key date shows glossy brn surfaces and beautiful eye appeal. The strike is a little weak, giving it the look of an XF45. A coin that is salable at a higher price because of the NGC grade. However, strike or wear, we value the coin as an XF45, and have it priced accordingly.

1916-D Mercury Dime F12
Item #68736
1916-D Mercury Dime F12
Beautiful golden gray surfaces. Most of the sticks show. There are two small scr's on the lower stick bundle. It does not show, but with bright lights and magnification, there are traces of an old light cleaning. This date is very elusive in F12. With WW I brewing, there were not many people collecting coins. As a result, this date is almost always seen in FA2 to G4. An opportunity to own this rare key date in a desirable grade.

1795 Half Cent AG3 Flaws ANACS
Item #73380
1795 Half Cent AG3 Flaws ANACS
Pl. Edge. Medium brn surfaces with Miss Liberty showing her facial details, and 'Liberty' is also readable. The reverses of this date is usually worn slick on lower grades, but this one shows over half the detail. The fraction shows clearly, nearly all the wreath and mottos show. The surfaces are evenly porous (from corr.), and the slab notes the edge is filed. This does not show in the slab or in an album. The date is weak with just traces of the '9', but fortunately, the '5' is visible, which makes the date readable. This vintage Capped Bust Half Cent was produced in only the 3rd year of half cent production. A vintage coin from the misty beginnings of our Mint, and at an affordable price.

1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel VF20 Damage PCGS
Item #72133
1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel VF20 Damage PCGS
Creamy nickel-gray surfaces with very sharp detail. The date is very bold, and the '7' is clearly visible. Excellent eye appeal, surfaces and the horn is complete, or very nearly so. 'Damage' is used as a catch all for many types of problems. In this case, there are three thin scr's near the feet of the bison. Also, there is a thin scr. running along the upper contour of the bison's head and back. This date is exceedingly rare in grades of F12 and higher. There are many outstanding Buffalo collections that lack a quality 1918/7-D. This coin has a wholesale BID/Ask of $4,000/4,350. In reality, a coin like this, that rarely is available, tends to go for much more. Specialist have estimated approx. 100,000 originally minted, with the variety not recognized until about 1930. The large majority were worn out, or at least down to the AG-G level. Using wholesale Ask, we have lowered the price $1,100 for the scratches.

Spotless silky white surfaces. The obverse shows a paraplegic winning a race in his wheelchair. Aptly titled, 'Triumph of the Human Spirit'. This special issue is for all our friends, family members, and many veterans that have to deal with serious disabilities every day of their lives. Surprisingly, only 14,497 were minted, making this one of the rarer dollar commemoratives.
